Queen's very first Greatest Hits compilation was originally released in 1981 and was an instant hit around the world, subsequently certified 19x platinum in the U.K. and 8x platinum in the U.S. and counting. The collection comprises Queen's best selling hit singles output from 1974's "Killer Queen" to 1980's "Flash" and almost every other single to make the top 20 over that time period including "Another One Bites the Dust," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," "Fat Bottomed Girls," "Bicycle Race," "We Will Rock You," "We Are the Champions," "Somebody to Love," "You're My Best Friend," and "Play the Game."

Queen's second Greatest Hits compilation was originally issued in 1991 and was another instant smash around the world comprising the group's best-selling hit singles from "Under Pressure" in 1981 to "The Show Must Go On," a perfect career summation and the last single released in Freddie Mercury's lifetime in 1991. Additional operatic classics include "Radio Ga Ga," "A Kind of Magic," "I Want It All," "I Want to Break Free," and "Who Wants to Live Forever" among many more.

1999's Greatest Hits III compiled many of the group's latter day material, solo hits and collaborations with other artists. Included here are "These Are the Days of Our Lives" and "No-One but You (Only the Good Die Young)" plus four songs from their last studio album Made in Heaven.
