Bob Marley & The Wailers - Babylon By Bus: Jamaican Reissue (Vinyl 2LP)
Numbered and Pressed Exclusively at the Legendary Tuff Gong International Headquarters in Kingston, Jamaica; Mastered by Dave Cooley at Elysian Masters in Los Angeles
The Marley Family, Tuff Gong, and UMe commemorate Bob Marley's 78th birthday with the release of twelve Bob Marley vinyl LPs, each numbered and pressed exclusively at the legendary Tuff Gong International headquarters in Kingston, Jamaica, featuring nine original studio albums and two original live albums, plus the world's best-selling reggae album, Legend, all including a highly-desirable Tuff Gong stamp. The albums were pressed at Tuff Gong's newly refurbished vinyl pressing plant, which re-opened in the summer of 2020 and has an annual capacity of 250,000 units. Each album was mastered by Dave Cooley at Elysian Masters in Los Angeles.
Captured in the midst of their Kaya tour in the spring of 1978, Bob Marley And The Wailers' second live recording, Babylon By Bus, is considered one of reggae's most powerful and influential concert albums. No performer connected to and/or inspired his audience quite like Bob Marley captured to full effect here in definitive live versions of "Exodus," "Stir It Up," "Kinky Reggae" "Lively Up Yourself," and "Is This Love" among many others.
